We're Live Now!
Glad you could join worship! We invite you to gather items in your home to create sacred space. These items can be large or small, that may help you feel grounded during worship. Children are welcome as well! We offer a children's sermon about 10 minutes into the worship. We celebrate Holy Communion every Sunday, so to prepare you can gather bread and wine or grape juice. If you would like you can follow along with our online bulletin.
We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and as a national church body, we have a liturgical (church) calendar that we follow throughout the year. The calendar is made up of different seasons that include specific gospels, readings, and hymns. We are now in the season of Lent which is 40 days and 40 nights long. This season is a period of fasting, repentance, reflection, and renewal. The season ends with Holy Week, where we remember Jesus's path towards his crucifixion and eventual resurrection on the cross which is celebrated on Easter Sunday. The color of tapestries, robes, and church decoration is Purple to show royalty, repentance, and solemnity.
Every Sunday we have a new announcement page with an overview and theme of the worship service. This is also where you can find updates on our weekly events, hot topics, next Sunday's readings, and prayers for the day and the week ahead. Click here to read our Sunday Announcements.
